Leaving Home

If you’re like us, it’s at about this point in the winter that you start daydreaming about summer. More specifically, you start fantasizing about vacation and time spent away from home. In fact, the best thing about vacation is being somewhere unlike home.

We spend a lot of time in our home, and showing others’ homes, so our ideal vacation includes a lot of not-being-at-home type activities: swimming, water skiiing, boating, fishing, hiking, and the like. Some of these things are pretty economical and others… well… not so much (I prefer to do my swimming in the pool of a luxury hotel).

Parade Magazine had some tips on how to save for your vacation this year which we thought were worth passing along. http://www.parade.com/news/2013/01/13-save-money-family-vacations-travel.html

Of course, if you’re working on spending for a different type of adventure – say a home purchase? – please give us a call and learn how we can help you find the home that feels just as great as a vacation. For all of your real estate needs, we are here to help.
